Two junior Missouri pitchers were drafted this afternoon in Major League Baseball's First-Year player draft.
Brett Graves was selected 101st by the Oakland Athletics while Keaton Steele was taken in the 8th round by the Minnesota Twins.
Graves started 14 games for the Tigers this season posting a 3.87 ERA in 93 innings of work.
Graves becomes part of an elite club of Missouri Tiger pitchers joining Max Scherzer. Aaron Crow, Kyle Gibson and Rob Zastryzny as first or second round picks in recent years.
Steele recored a 3.07 ERA while striking out 56 batters and only allowing 18 walks. He also ranked 4th in the SEC with nine saves.
