Pamela Murray Announces House Rep Candidacy
HOLTS SUMMIT - Pamela Murray announced her candidacy for Missouri House of Representatives District 39 Friday.
The seat is currently under litigation and currently covers most of Callaway County and portions of Cole County. Some of the cities in the district are Fulton, Holts Summit, and northern Jefferson City. Murray says she is running for change in Missouri's General Assembly.
One thing Murray wants to change is the size of the Callaway Nuclear Power Plant. She wants to see it expanded, without increasing utility rates to pay for the construction.
Murray is a Ward I Alderwoman from Holts Summit and has done that since 2005. During her tenure, State Route OO was widened, the Civic Building was made more accessible, and city staff was added.
