Party Bus Helps Out Stranded Drivers
COLUMBIA - Thursday started with a trip to the grocery store for Ben Bradley and Justin Coil. But it ended up as a day of helping people when their cars got stuck.
"I couldn't get my car out," said Columbia Party Bus Owner Ben Bradley. "So, we took the bus."
The Ford E-450 super duty isn't what most people would consider a good tow truck, but Bradley and Coil helped out more than 20 people who couldn't get around in the snow.
"It's a good feeling," said Coil, the party bus driver and former Army Combat Medic. "Helping people out and seeing them smile, it's all worth it."
The party bus pulled cars out of ditches, until Bradley's tow strap broke. Then, they switched to a ratchet strap and continue to push behind cars and helping people reach their destination.
