Paul Campaigning in Missouri's GOP Strongholds
ST. CHARLES (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul is focusing on some of the most heavily Republican parts of Missouri in hopes of a good showing in its caucuses. Paul is to speak Saturday at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, then appear that night at Hillcrest High School in Springfield. The outer suburbs of St. Louis and the southwest corner of Missouri are two of the most reliably Republican parts of the state and will be key for candidates hoping to mobilize supporters for Missouri's lengthy caucus process. Local caucuses begin next week and will culminate with presidential delegates chosen at meetings in April and June. Paul also campaigned last month in Kansas City.
