Police arrest two suspects tied to Dunhill Way armed robbery
COLUMBIA - Police have arrested two men on suspicion of armed criminal action, robbery and burglary in connection with a Saturday armed robbery and a separate burglary that occurred March 9.
Columbia police officers stopped three men on Business Loop 70 near Hickman High School Monday. At the traffic stop, officers found a stolen firearm that was reported missing during a burglary on March 9 in the 3000 block of Old Highway 63 South.
Quincy Hines and Demarqeyan Mobley were arrested. The third subject was released without any charges.
Officers questioned the suspects regarding their involvement in a robbery on Dunhill Way which took place on March 12. Police believe Once he was inside the house, police said the suspect pulled out a gun, demanded the residents' valuables, and fled the home with a cellphone and other items.
