Police Investigating Armed Robbery at The Grove Apartments

COLUMBIA - Officers were dispatched around 5 p.m. Saturday to 3250 Rock Quarry Road, The Grove Apartments, for a report of a home invasion robbery.

Columbia police said three residents and one non-resident were home when they heard someone knocking loudly on the door.

The door was reportedly forced open by "three or four dark skinned males" who then entered the residence. Police said one of them had a handgun.

The men allegedly took several items from the residence.

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
