COLUMBIA - Officers were dispatched to the Ramada Inn at 901 Conley Road for an armed robbery on April 3.

The investigation revealed an unidentified white male wearing a green sweat shirt with the hood cinched around his face entered the hotel lobby. The suspect wrote the night clerk a robbery note demanding money, and then he made physical movements with his hands implying possession of a weapon. The suspect left the hotel on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described a white male in his early twenties, 5'5", 150 lbs. Prior to the suspect leaving the Ramada Inn, a red Chevrolet Camaro with a black top was seen pulling out of the business. This vehicle may be a witness or involved with the robbery.
