The 28-year-old robbery suspect was transported to an area hospital Sunday night after being hit in the leg and buttocks. Authorities describe his condition as stable.
Police say two men robbed Elicia's Pizza on Sunday. They say one man held the owner at gunpoint while the other took an undisclosed amount of cash from a register.
The owner pulled out a concealed gun and fired on the suspects. Police say the robber with the gun collapsed outside the store and the other man escaped into a maroon minivan. No other injuries were reported.
