Police: Pedestrian hit by a vehicle near Rangeline Street
COLUMBIA - A man hit a pedestrian with his vehicle Friday morning near Rangeline Street and Vandiver Drive, which was followed by fight that led to two arrests, according to Columbia Police.
Police said they found Victor Ramos lying in the road when responding to a 7:37 a.m. dispatch.
Police said Bruce Mason, who was with Ramos, started a fight with a male driver, punching him in the face several times.
Officers said Ramos joined in on the fight but the driver eventually managed to return to his vehicle.
Both Mason and Ramos were arrested and accused of assault then released after they each signed a summons to appear in court.
