Police Respond to Shots Fired at Waffle House in Columbia

COLUMBIA - Columbia police responded to shots fired at the Waffle House on 904 Rangeline Street at 1:51 a.m. Sunday.

According to the investigation, multiple shots were fired from two separate weapons in the Waffle House parking lot. Three vehicles were in the parking lot at the time and were last seen heading westbound on Vandiver Drive.

Police found bullet casings in both the Waffle House parking lot and in the nearby Travel Lodge Motel parking lot.

Officers seized one vehicle in the Waffle House parking lot with bullet holes for evidence.

Police are not reporting any injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
