Police search for Columbia armed robbery suspects
COLUMBIA - Columbia police were looking for two men Monday after a morning robbery.
At 10:45 a.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at Missouri Title Loans at 614 Business Loop 70 West.
Officers said two men entered the business through the front door and approached an employee at the front counter. Police said the men showed a gun and demanded the employee give them money from the register. The suspects collected an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot.
Police said the employee was the only person present at the time of the robbery and was not injured. There was no reported property damage.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Police ask anyone with information to contact the Columbia Police Department or, to remain anonymous, call CrimeStoppers at (573) 875-TIPS.
