Poplar Bluff city employee charged in shooting
POPLAR BLUFF (AP) - A Poplar Bluff city employee faces felony charges of first-degree assault and armed criminal action related to the weekend shooting of a 34-year-old woman.
KFVS-TV reports that 37-year-old Jeremy W. Grable was charged Monday and released after posting a $50,000 bond.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says that Grable and the woman, who was shot in the upper torso, were involved in a child custody dispute. She was listed in stable condition at an area hospital.
