Possible Sexual Assault at MU Fraternity House
COLUMBIA - An 18-year-old female said she may have been sexually assaulted at a University of Missouri fraternity house.
The Columbia Police Department said it received a phone call at 4:22 a.m. Tuesday and officers were dispatched to the University Hospital in regard to a possible sexual assault.
According to the Columbia Police Department, the woman said she had been drugged, while drinking. She told police she thought she may have been assaulted.
The police said the victim did not have any information of the suspect. The victim said the incident happened at a fraternity house in the 800 block of South Providence Road.
The investigation is still ongoing.
The university sent out an email Wednesday alerting MU students, staff and faculty members that an incident occurred.
