Possible Tax Changes for Missouri
COLUMBIA - A new commission is looking at reducing and possiblely removing state tax loopholes. A state commission, which was created back in July by Governor Nixon is playing a vital role in reshaping the way the state uses financial incentives.
The public hearing breaked just before six o'clock Tuesday night and is scheduled to return around seven. From the testimony, most people are in favor to keeping the tax credits...espcially the ones that affect them or their business.
During the testimony, a woman strongly pushed for the historic tax credit saying that in the end it's paying for itself. The people in the room do feel like these tax credits are worth their tax dollars.
The meeting is scheduled to wrap up at nine.
