Preliminary Hearing For Megan Ayres Takes Place Today

CALLAWAY COUNTY - A preliminary hearing will take place this afternoon at 1:30 in the Callaway City Circuit Court for Megan Ayres.
Prosecutors charged Ayres and her boyfriend with endangering the welfare of a child after investigators found her infant son dead in the Holts Summit residence in June.
The two were also arrested on possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphenalia.
