Proposed Ordinance Targets Water Runoff
Officials say Columbia's storm water management policies are behind the times, and that the new requirements could be costly, but will be worth it.
"There's going to be some additional costs to developing the land on the front end side of it. But, also you have to look at other issues. For not doing it, there's things on the tail end that's caused by run-off that we have to go back and fix then after its already been developed," said Glascock.
