COLUMBIA - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) plans to hold a forum Tuesday night at the Reynolds Alumni Center at the University of Missouri to discuss Missouri's long-range transportation plan.
The meeting is part of MoDOT's "On the Move" initiative. The organization plans to hold 16 of these public forums around the state.
MoDOT plans to develop highway spending priorities and generate voter approval of a temporary one-cent sales tax increase to fund highway construction.
The forum will start at 6 p.m.
Those who cannot make the meeting can go to the "On the Move" website to express opinions on the state's highway needs.
