Purdy Beats Couch 55-49, Takes Mo. Class 2 Title

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP)- Addy Roller hit four clutch free throws in the last 13 seconds as Purdy held on to beat Couch 55-49 in the Missouri Class 2 girls' state championship game Saturday. Roller finished with 20 points, including two free throws with 13 seconds left to push the Eagles' (25-6) lead to four and seal the second title in school history. Shelby White had 19 points and 17 rebounds for Purdy, which held a 41-29 rebounding edge. The Eagles finished the game shooting 40
percent from the floor. Alex Hower scored 21 and Elizabeth Nessling added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Indians (26-4).
