Quarter-Cent Sales Tax For Mental Health on November Ballot
JEFFERSON CITY - A quarter-cent sales tax to fund youth mental health services will now appear on the November 7 ballot.
This is the third attempt to create a tax for local mental health services in the past 20 years.
The question was verified after a petition reached more than 8,000 signatures. The required minimum amount was 6,000.
