HOLYOKE, MA - The USA Baseball Collegiate National Team's game at Holyoke was rained out due to heavy rains at Mackenzie Field Saturday night.

LJ Mazzilli of Connecticut drove the first pitch he saw from Holyoke and blooped it to right field for a single. However, rain, and eventually hail, began to fall right before Michael Lorenzen of Cal State - Fullerton could come to bat. A lightning strike, coupled with the hail, forced the teams into their respective dugouts.

The game will not be made up due to Team USA's travel plans.

Team USA will make a trek to Fenway Park to see the stadium Sunday afternoon before heading to play North Shore at 5:15 p.m. ET
