ST. LOUIS (AP) - The St. Louis Rams have added depth to the offensive line, taking Alabama center Barrett Jones in the fourth round of the NFL draft.

The 6-4, 306-pound Jones won the Outland Trophy in 2011 and the Rimington Award in 2012. He played on three national championship teams and was the 113th overall selection.

Jones was a four-year starter and has played at guard, center and tackle and projects as an interior lineman. He made half of his 50 college starts at right guard.

The Rams also addressed an area of need in the fifth round of the NFL draft, taking Miami cornerback Brandon McGee.

McGee was timed in 4.37 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the combine. He was a captain his senior season and started his last two years with the Hurricanes, totaling three interceptions, 11 pass deflections and 109 tackles in 44 games.

McGee tied for sixth on the team in tackles his senior season and figures to provide depth for a team that entered Saturday with just four cornerbacks on the roster. He was the 149th overall selection.

St. Louis traded both of their sixth-round picks to the Houston Texans and concluded their draft by selecting Vanderbilt running back Zac Stacy in the fifth round.

The 5-8, 216-pound Stacy was third in the SEC with 1,141 yards rushing as a senior with 10 touchdowns. He's the school's only player to rush for 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons and holds school career records of 3,143 yards and 30 touchdowns.

The Rams need depth at running back after losing Steven Jackson in free agency, leaving them with a pair of second-year players in Daryl Richardson and Isaiah Pead. The burly Stacy could help in short-yardage situations.
