Redhawks Knock Off Mizzou
COLUMBIA -- Dillon Everett launched his first career home run, a solo shot that cleared the wall in left in a losing effort as Mizzou (15-25) fell to Southeast Missouri State (21-25) by a 9-7 final Tuesday night at Taylor Stadium.
Left fielder Case Munson suffered shoulder injury in the first inning, ending his game before the first out.
The Redhawks tallied two quick runs off Rash, taking advantage of an injury to Munson as he tried to make a diving catch and allowed the ball to roll to the wall, giving Derek Gibson a two-run inside-the-park home run before the game's first out.
