Repairs to begin on Garth Avenue
COLUMBIA — Repairs on a section of North Garth Avenue will begin Monday morning.
They will take place on the section of the road located between Business Loop 70 and Texas Avenue between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Columbia Public Works Department's Street Division is in charge of the repairs.
The work is scheduled to go through December 5th so long as weather conditions do not force it to go later.
Parts of the road are expected to be restricted. There will be flaggers directing traffic through the areas being repaired. However, pedestrians and motorists are asked to be careful if they do use the road and alternative routes are encouraged.
Businesses along the road such as Mizzou North, an art an archaeological museum, and Bob McCosh, a car dealership, will operate under normal circumstances.
