Ricardo Valsian First Player of the Week in CMU Soccer History

Kansas City, MO - Out of multiple award winners, senior Ricardo Valsien of Central Methodist was chosen on Tuesday as the NAIA Men's Soccer National Offensive Player of the Week by the national office.

The decision was made based on performances from Sept. 9-15, when he scored key goals in each of his games. This included a game tying goal in the 84th minute against Hannibal LaGrange and the game winning goal in overtime against Jamestown. He leads his team in goals (4) and points (8).

Valsien is the the first National Player of the week in the Central Methodist's program's history.
