Robertson Interested in Challenging Blunt
Robertson served on the state's high court from 1985 to 1998 and was chief justice from 1991 to 1993. Republican Gov. John Ashcroft appointed him, after Robertson served as Ashcroft's chief of staff. Robertson is a Republican, but he won't say why he'd consider challenging Blunt in a primary election. Blunt's on a state business trip in Mexico. His spokesman says the governor's record on education, economic development and government reform provide a good record to run on. Democratic Attorney General Jay Nixon already has entered the race against Blunt.
