KANSAS CITY - Rock Bridge's football season is over after making the playoffs for the first time since 2005.
Rock Bridge lost against Rockhurst in a thriller 10-9.
In the second quarter, Andre McKinnon sacked Rockhurst quarterback Nick Jones in the end zone for a safety, giving Rock Bridge a 2-0 lead. Rock Bridge's Bo Bell passed to Nate Egharevba for a touchdown, Rock Bridge going into the half with a 9-0 lead.
Rockhurst tailback Jordan Walker scored a touchdown in the third quarter, making the score 9-7 Rock Bridge. Rockhurst came back with a 30-yard field goal, ending the game with a 10-9 Rockhurst win.
