Rolla Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Selling Drugs
ROLLA - A Rolla man had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 20 years in prison Friday for selling drugs.
Phelps County Prosecuting Attorney John Beger said a judge revoked 22-year-old Wilbert Robinson's probation after a hearing. During the hearing, Assistant Prosecutor Brendon Fox provided evidence that Robinson committed a new robbery and tried to intimidate the victim from testifying against him.
"The victim did the best she could considering she was in fear for her family," Fox said. "Officer Jessie Hoyt from the Rolla Police Department did a great job investigating the robbery and ensuring we had enough evidence to send Wilbert Robinson to prison for a long time."
Following the hearing, the judge sentenced Robinson to 20 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for his drug charges.
Robinson will be arraigned Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. for the alleged robbery.
