Roots and Blues Street Detours
COLUMBIA- Grills are coming out and streets are shutting down in the heart of downtown Columbia for this year's annual Roots and Blues festival. The city plans to begin rerouting streets downtown Friday morning at 9 A.M. All main streets between Broadway and Locust Street will be barricaded until Sunday morning at 4 A.M. City garage and street parking will be available to the public free of charge during the hours of the event on a first come first serve basis. The 107 Fastcat bus will make a temporary stop for festival goers at the corner of Seventh and Cherry Street. This is the fifth year Columbia has hosted the festival.
