Roots 'N Blues Volunteers
"We pick up the trash and take it to the compactor while the other people are walking around and picking up the trash and putting it in new liners," said Mike Kleydman, a volunteer trash driver.
"I asked to work with the golf carts, just to drive around. Why walk when you can ride in a car," he said.
Many volunteers said they are having so much fun that they are willing to volunteer extra hours.
"We had like a two hour volunteer shift but we're willing to go another couple hours," said Brad Stevens, another volunteer trash driver.
Other volunteer jobs included moving or selling merchandise, selling tickets, and restocking booths.
"It's a lot of fun and I'm happy to do whatever to make it a success," said Anne Weller, a volunteer street guard.
"Next year I want the job of driving the golf cart. They should put the old people driving the golf carts instead of standing on the street guard." Weller said.
