Running back Darius Anderson commits to Missouri
Just a few days after his offcial visit to the University of Missouri campus, Darius Anderson verbally committed to join the Tiger football team.
His father, Quincy, told reporters that his son had committed over the weekend. However, Darius said that his decision was not official.
Today he confirmed the decision when he sent out a tweet from his personal account.
Anderson stands 5 foot 11 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. The running back plays for George Ranch High School in Richmond, Texas. Rivals.com gives him a 3-star rating and ranks him as the number 12 running back in the state. ESPN's player rankings list him as the 52nd ranked running back in the country.
According to ESPN, Anderson also had offers from California, Colorado, East Carolina, Houston, Indiana, Kansas, Southern Methodist, Texas,and Tulsa.
Anderson is the 13th recruit for Missouri from the 2016 class.
