WASHINGTON (AP) - An outbreak of the flu is forcing an eastern Missouri school to cancel classes for the day.
KMOV-TV reports that classes were called off Thursday at South Point Elementary School in Washington. District officials plan to disinfect the building in an effort to prevent further outbreaks.
School officials have not yet decided if classes will resume Friday. Other schools in Franklin County remain open.
