JEFFERSON CITY - This is the last week for the Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors' school supplies drive. The organization has collected school supplies all month for the upcoming school year to donate to the Samaritan Center.

Realtor Leslie Davis said the office has plenty of markers, pencils, and pens, but they still need more notebooks, notebook paper, tissues, backpacks, erasers, and rulers. She said there has been a good response to the "School Supplies Round Up" so far this year.

"Every year the reatlors like to find ways to help give back to the community. And we thought getting the kids excited to go back to school would be a good way to do that this year. So we teamed up with the Samaritan Center to gather school supplies for the kids," she said.

Davis also said the best way to donate the supplies is to drop them off at the Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors office at 1906 Bubba Lane in Jefferson City.
