SEC Championship FanFare Brings in Thousands of Fans
ATLANTA, Ga. - The SEC Championship held it's annual FanFare Friday at the Georgia World Congress Center welcoming all SEC fans.
"It's a really just a tailgate party," said volunteer Scott Mathewson. Mathewson said it's organized for all fans of the SEC to come hang out with each other.
The FanFare had dozens of activities from timed races to prizes to football. Several sponsors provided drinks, gifts, and more.
Mizzou fans and Auburn fans alike practiced their sports skills at different training areas around the arena, and not just football. There was a full basketball court, golfing and wiffle ball.
Kids got their faces painted and adults got the chance to enter for free Sugar Bowl tickets and vacations.
