SEC Release Fall/Winter Olympic Sports Schedules for 2012-2013

BIRMINGHAM, AL -- The Southeastern Conference has announced its 14-team conference schedules for volleyball, soccer and gymnastics for the 2012-13 season.

Each SEC institution will release its own complete schedules. The conference will release its spring sport schedules for tennis, baseball and softball tomorrow.

Missouri and Texas A&M enter the SEC on July 1, giving the SEC 14 teams in soccer, 13 in volleyball and eight in gymnastics. Vanderbilt does not compete in volleyball while Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU and Missouri field gymnastics squads.

The 2012-13 schedule is not based on any other previous or future scheduling formats. The SEC Athletics Directors are currently formulating scheduling principles for the 2013-14 season and beyond.

In the sports of volleyball and soccer, Missouri will participate in the Eastern Division and Texas A&M in the Western Division.
