UPDATE: Sedalia police identified person(s) of interest in fatal stabbing
SEDALIA (AP) — Sedalia police have identified person(s) of interest and are following leads in the investigation of Heather McClellan according to a press release posted on the Sedalia Police Department Facebook page.
Sedalia police say a woman died on Jan. 14 after apparently being assaulted with a weapon in her apartment on the 400 block of East 7th street in Sedalia. The autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
McClellan was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center where she was later pronounced dead by Pettis County Coroner Robert “Skip” Smith.
Sedalia Police Department is asking anyone with information to call the department to speak with Detective Jill Green at 660-827-7823 Ext. 1213.
