MORGAN COUNTY - Seven people were arrested in Morgan County on drug distribution charges. The Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force, Morgan County Sheriff's Office, Morgan County S.W.A.T. team and the Camden County S.W.A.T. team raided the residence of Shad Rehms located at 28081 Beauty View Lane in Gravois Mills on September 7th.
All seven people were arrested on related charges.
Kelly R. Strickland, 32, of Gravois Mills was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation on an original charge of distribution of a controlled substance. She is being charged with a class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance. Officers recovered digital scales, packaging material and approximately one ounce of Methamphetamine from the residence.
Amanda Koontz, 27, of Versailles was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Dana Caviness, 31, of Sunrise Beach and Jennifer Lahay, 28, also of Sunrise Beach were arrested near the scene. Caviness was arrested for outstanding traffic warrants. Lahay was arrested for felony charges of possession of a controlled substance.
Kyle Rehms, 18, Lee Summit was arrested for burglary on September 6th in Gravois Mills. Shad Rehms was charged with the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance.
In a related case Randall D. Roden, 38, of Gravois Mills was arrested on September 9th and is being charged with the class B felony of distribution of a controlled substance, the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance and the class C felony of possession of an illegal firearm.
Those charges stem from a search of Roden's car during a traffic stop and a subsequent search of a residence in Versailles frequented by Roden. Officers recovered Methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging material and 10 firearms, one of which was a saw-off double barrel shotgun.
The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
