COLUMBIA- Officers were dispatched to the Shell Petromart on I-70 Drive SW at 7:44 P.M. Friday. It was reported that a black male entered the station and demanded money. Witnesses say the suspect implied he had a weapon, but no weapon was seen. The suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.

The Columbia Police Department dispatched a K9 unit, but the track for the suspect was unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as a black male in his thirties, 5'8"-5'10," approximately 200 pounds, with short curly black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a striped shirt with blue jeans, boots, and a scarf around his neck.

The Columbia Police Department asks anyone with information to contact the Columbia Police or Crimestoppers to remain anonymous.
