Shooting in Fulton Sends Four to Hospital
The shooting occurred inside an after hours club called "The House." The club is just off of Highway 54 and neighbors said hundreds of cars come to the lot where people pay to get on the property late at night after the bars close. The neighbors said the cars park in the lot between midnight and 5 a.m.
Police responded to the scene Saturday morning after reports of shots fired were called in to dispatchers. They stopped a vehicle with four suspects after a brief highway chase.
Neighbors and police said this club has a history.
"We've had problems out there in the past. They've only been in existence for four to five months. We have had other problems in the area and this is just one more," said Fulton police chief Steve Myers.
Police did not have any more information about the conditions of the victims. At this point they said the location remains a crime scene. The police said "The House" will remain closed Saturday night as they continue their investigation.
