Smoking Increases Death Rate for Breast Cancer Patients

A new study links smoking to an increased risk of death in breast cancer patients. The study showed women who were current smokers or had a history of smoking were 39% more likely to die from their disease compared to those who never smoked. Current and past smokers also had double the risk of death from non-breast cancer related causes.

A new round of egg recalls. The nation's biggest egg seller and distributor today recalled 288.000 eggs. Cal-Maine Foods issued the recall after evidence of salmonella was found at an Ohio egg farm. That farm is linked to an Iowa egg farm responsible for a massive recall earlier this year. According to Cal-Maine Foods, the Ohio fresh eggs were distributed in seven states including Missouri. No one has reported any illnesses yet.
