DEXTER, Mo. (AP) - Authorities say a 32-year-old southeast Missouri man died after being shot while hunting.
The Stoddard County sheriff's office says the Poplar Bluff man was shot Monday morning while duck hunting in a boat near Dexter. He died Tuesday at a Cape Girardeau hospital.
The man was hunting with one other person.
KFVS reports the sheriff says an investigation is continuing but the shooting appears to be an accident.
The hunter's name wasn't released.
