Southwest Missouri Group Makes Fund to Restore Trees in Joplin
JOPLIN - Southwest Missouri Resource Conservation and Development has established a "Trees for Joplin" fund to replace trees destroyed by the May 22 tornado.
Two organizations are working together to buy the trees in bulk to save money.
Along with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, the Resource Conservation and Development hopes to improve the environment and standard of living in the area.
