Southwest Mo. Teacher Pleads to Sexual Contact With Kids

WARSAW - A former elementary school teacher in southwest Missouri has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for having sexual contact with students.
Ralph Moyle, a 31-year-old former teacher at Long Lane Elementary School, pleaded guilty Friday to several counts including first-degree statutory sodomy and felonious sexual contact with a student on school property. Moyle was also sentenced to two four-year prison terms that were ordered to run concurrently.
The case was being handled in Benton County on a change of venue from Dallas County.
A probable cause statement said Moyle was accused of inappropriately touching at least three students while they were at school, at a birthday party and at his home.
Long Lane is an unincorporated community about 50 miles northeast of Springfield.
