COLUMBIA- The 40,000 colorful lights that make up the Magic Tree are now on display in the center of Cherry Hill Village. It took forty hours to put all the colorful LED lights on the Magic Tree.
The official tree lighting isn't until December 1, but the creator, Will Treelighter (as he's often called) wanted to give those in town for Thanksgiving the opportunity to see it lit up.
December 1 is the holiday festival and the tree's official lighting. There will be Christmas carrolling, face-painting, horse drawn carriage rides and more. The events start at 5 p.m. and the tree lighting will be at 5:30.
