St. Charles County Deputy Sentenced Today For Charges

ST. CHARLES - Sentencing is set today for a St. Charles County deputy found guilty of assault during a meth bust.

A Montgomery County jury found Christopher Hunt guilty of felony burglary and misdemeanor counts of assault and property damage in August.

The charges come from an incident in 2009 where prosecutors say Hunt was not working but showed up out of a grudge.

The most serious crime of burglary carries a maximum sentence of 15 years.
