St. Louis Craigslist Ad Leads to Burglary Arrest
ST. LOUIS - A St. Louis County man was charged with breaking into two cars after a robbery victim saw his stolen radar detector listed for sale on Craigslist.
KMOV-TV reports that Michael Antonio Perez of Chesterfield is accused of first-degree burglary, misdemeanor stealing and felony stealing after the weekend Wildwood break-ins.
Police say Perez was arrested when he showed up to sell the stolen items he listed online. A subsequent search of Perez's home turned up cash, jewelry and electronics, according to police.
