St. Louis man charged in killing that happened in 2013
ST. LOUIS (AP) — A St. Louis man is facing murder charges more than three years after a woman was killed during a burglary.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 20-year-old Quinton Roberts was charged Wednesday with second-degree murder, armed criminal action and first-degree burglary. He is jailed on $500,000 cash-only bond.
Roberts was 16 at the time of the crime, but was certified to stand trial as an adult.
Court documents said Roberts and another man broke into the home of Joann Caffey on Dec. 19, 2013. Prosecutors said Caffey was shot in the head.
