State Adjusts Charges to Ryan Bridger

COLUMBIA - The defense attorney for Ryan Bridger said Tuesday the state filed an "amended information" for his client, adding more charges as he awaits a murder trial in connection to the death of 67-year-old Aletha Turner.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department listed four additional charges against Bridger, including robbery, felony stealing and buglary. He is accused of killing Turner, the aunt of his girlfriend, in 2010.
Chris Hayes, the public defender for Bridger, said the amended information also dismissed other charges relating to the incident, but he said the murder charge has not been affected.
