State Releases March Revenue Report
JEFFERSON CITY - State Budget Director Linda Luebbering announced Tuesday that 2012 net revenue collections increased 2.5 percent when compared with last year, an increase from $4.94 billion to $5.06 billion.
The month of March saw the state collect three percent more than it did in the same month last year.
The state's general revenue fund borrowed $100 million from the budget reserve fund to help with cash flow, bringing the total borrowed to $325 million. The state constitution sets May 15th as the deadline for the state to repay those funds.
