JOPLIN, Mo. (AP) -- A suspect in a Joplin home-invasion robbery and homicide has been arrested in Mississippi.
The Joplin Globe reports (http://bit.ly/RpDcWa ) that federal marshals and Mississippi state police arrested 17-year-old Monday Daniel D. Hartman in the town of Rolling Fork, Miss. He's charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and burglary.
Hartman is one of five suspects in a home-invasion death of 23-year-old Jacob A. Wages in early July.
Online court records don't list a lawyer for Hartman, who's the fourth suspect to be arrested in the case.
Joplin police Sgt. Chad Allison says police received a tip through the Crime Stoppers program that led to Hartman's arrest.
