Suspect in southeast Missouri killing turns himself in
CARUTHERSVILLE(AP) - A southeast Missouri man suspected in the shooting death of a man in early July has turned himself in.
The Sikeston Standard Democrat reported that 26-year-old Ratio Frederick Armour surrendered Thursday morning at the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department. He is charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the July 3 death of 30-year-old Larry Turner of Hayti.
Armour is jailed without bond.
Turner's body was found July 3 in the front yard of a trailer home near Holland, Missouri.
